Pretty happy with this one!
The scene depicts Varsuka, mighty mama ice dragon, awakening from her slumber to find intruders in her den. A large, but rather stupid beast, Varsuka made a nest in an abandoned cryogenics laboratory, with the Ice Heart the crown jewel of her horde. Little did she know, the heart would react with the portal into the Mechanicus dimension, casting a spell of snow and sorrow over the entire land. It’s up to the brave adventures to slay Varsuka and reclaim the Ice Heart crystal.
This piece took approximately 40 hours, including plenty of conceptual and preliminary work to get everything in the illustration just right.
